The Louis H. Wilson, Jr., (DDG 126) is the 76th Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer and the first ship in the United States Navy named in honor of Gen. Louis Hugh Wilson, Jr., (1920-2005), the 26th Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism during the Battle of Guam in World War II.

May 16, 2023 The keel authentication ceremony for the future USS Louis H. Wilson, Jr., was held at the Bath Iron Works shipyard.

September 27, 2025 The Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) Louis H. Wilson, Jr., was christened during a 10:30 a.m. EDT ceremony at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine. Janet Wilson Taylor, daughter of the ship's namesake, and Susan J. Rabern, former Assistant Secretary of the Navy, served as sponsors of the ship.
