The Harrisburg (LPD 30) is the 14th San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship and the second ship of the United States Navy named after the city of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

January 28, 2022 The keel authentication ceremony for the future USS Harrisburg was held at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Ingalls Operations shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

October 5, 2024 The Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) Harrisburg was launched from a floating dry-dock and moored at Ingalls West Bank Yard East Wharf.

January 11, 2025 PCU Harrisburg was christened during a 10 a.m. CDT ceremony at Ingalls West Bank in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Mrs. Alexandra Curry, Mrs. Jennifer Diaz and Mrs. Monica Peters served as sponsors of the ship.
